Well, this was a mistake French eBay auction purchase. I was the only bidder and it was fortunately not expensive. Curiosity got the better of me ...
Poor all plastic build which is quite stiff for the focus throw and a bizarre cheapo clickless aperture with a control lever. Lens glass seems to be without any treatment and is not sharp until heavy stop down. Close focus "macro" at 10.5 inches and has a long focus throw. Max aperture is only f16 ... far too short from a "macro" in my books.
Here's a sample image @ f16 and MFD ... not very deep nor very "macro" ... and rather disappointing overall. Win some, loose some on eBay. Salut, J | |
