The Veydra Mini Prime 12mm T2.2 lens is a wide angle focal length. This Veydra lens allows for wide angle views such as scene establishing shots or handheld/aerial gimbal use.
Available in Micro4/3 (MFT) and C-Mount. Also available in Sony E mount (2K center crop only for Sony) by special request.
Purpose built for cinema acquisition applications, all Veydra lenses feature constant volume focus, 0.8 cinema pitch gears on the iris/focus rings, constant T-Stop, and common front diameter for quick lens changes in a production environment.
All Veydra lenses exceed 4K resolution and are constructed of the finest grade aluminum and optical glass elements with multi-coating for color consistency. I love my entire set of mini primes. But the 12mm turned out to be one of the most used lenses on my last film. (The Father and the Bear). On the BMPCC it gave me the equivalent of a 20mm-ish. Both my DP and me love the glass. Can’t wait for my 85mm to complete the set.

The Veydra 12mm is simply phenomenal. This sharp, fast piece of glass has a beautiful depth of field, and handles better then pieces of my kit that cost twice as much. I love my whole set of Veydras, but the 12mm become a go-to for me. The quality of the image is truly impressive.
