Pros: | Very sharp image, IQ | Cons: | A little heavy MF | | This is a lens I also had never heard of, when I came across it it was in Very nice condition so for $60.00 I gave it a try and I also was very impressed with the IQ of this lens. For an older Manual focus zoom lens, I highly recommend this lens if you can find one because IMOHO the sharpness is remarkable.

Pros: | Very sharp | Cons: | Handling the macro ring is a bit fiddely | | I got this lens almost by accident, since I was bidding low just for the fun of it. I have never heard of this lens brand before.
But I got a big surprise, when I started using it. It delivers professional looking, very sharp close-up images. I'ts not really a macro lens, since the magnification ratio is just 1:5 - 1:7. It's a close-up lens. Which is exactly what makes it very usefull. I use it in the studio when ever my normal macro lenses would get me too close.
It's great for photographing books, posters, camera equipment etc.
The macro ring is a bit fiddely, though (aren't they all?) and it takes some time getting used to. I have never used it as a normal zoom for everyday shooting, for which purpose I have excellent alternatives, featuring Open aperture metering on DSLR's as well as auto focus.
