Unremarkable looking, utilitarian, but this standard lens from Yashica inherits the good DNAs from the ML series. From f2 on, the lens is reasonably sharp and can help you make some remarkable images. I do believe there is at least two versions of this lens. The one I had previously seemed much heavier, and better built. This one is lighter and feels more plastic. Regardless, the lens itself doesn't seem to change much. If you can't find the great ML 50mm f1.4, get this more common and inexpensive cousin and you won't be disappointed.
