Often wondered about these Schacht lenses, so thanks for the samples. Looks like a middle of the road lens - some softness, but decent colors

I have that one too - was never that impressed with it, I second the opinion above!

Agree, this is average performer, but well build and looks nice. Better then Domiplan 2.8/50.

The bottom of my coke bottle is better than my Domiplan!

My Dimoplan (zebra) is also bad one at 2.8 but from 4.5 (half step between 4 and 5.6) can be compare to other lenses, recognized as "not bad".

Good "german's" colors (in the cold side).

Something soft image. Characteristic of triplet or derivate triplet lens.

I found that in the tessar lenses (4/3) the IQ is good (corners and center) from F/8 and in the triplets (domiplan, vaskar, reomar, etc) the IQ is good from F/11.
